GED Preparation Program

Do you need to prepare for the GED tests?

  • Are you 18 years old or over?

  • Do you need help finding a fulfilling career with better opportunities?

Registration for the GED Preparation program is open from August to March. However, we highly recommend starting when the classes begin in September, as instruction follows a curriculum.  If you are interested in the GED prep classes, fill in this interest form and we will contact you in late August.

Classes are held on Mondays and Wednesdays during the school year from 5-8 p.m. at the ROAR center located at 41500 Gardenbrook Road, Novi MI 48375.

Program highlights:

  • Topics covered: Math, Science, Social studies and Language Arts

  • GED classes provide a heavy focus on math, as well as reading skills

  • Small class size

  • Tailored individual instruction as needed

  • Test taking strategies

  • Students are assessed frequently to determine GED exam readiness

  • Career planning: Assistance is available for taking steps towards career opportunities

  • Michigan works services available to all GED students

At registration, please bring photo identification and plan to stay and take the required assessment tests which will determine your current academic skill level and appropriate placement. If you have any High School credits, please also bring a transcript from the last school attended.  This is not required, but sometimes a diploma is a quicker path to completion.

We are not a testing center. We do not administer the GED test. To find the closest GED testing center to you please check https://www.ged.com/
